About us
MSJ LEO (Leadership Experience Opportunity) Club is an international volunteering club whose goal is to serve in a way that is beneficial for both the community and the members of the club. With a wide range of weekend service opportunities every month, each and every event offers a unique experience while giving students chances to earn community service hours. We believe that the best type of community service is that of which allows members to genuinely enjoy themselves, meet new people, and learn through personal experience the value of helping others in need.
MSJ LEO belongs to District 4C3 of the largest service organization in the world, LIONS International, which strives to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Our international service project this year, Lions in Sight, is dedicated to providing no cost primary eye care to low-income citizens in economically disadvantaged countries. Mission's own LEO Club was chartered on May 30th 1984, it is currently still thriving as one of the largest service clubs in the Mission community.
We host meetings every month, so if you're interested at all feel free to drop on by! Anyone is welcome to join the LEO family; we always have room for one more :)

WHY LEO?
What sets LEO apart from other service clubs at MSJ is that we promote Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity through service, leadership opportunities, inclusivity, and friendship. We as a club have 5 main causes: diabetes, vision, hunger, environment, childhood cancer, and we conduct different projects that aim to make a difference in those causes.
Additionally, we hose 2-4 service events EACH MONTH, making us one of the most active clubs on campus!!
